After giving a reasonably successful gybing lesson to a client (surprisingly since mine are still pants...), went out at 3.30pm. Virtually identical conditions to yesterday, again perfectly powered up on my 4.6. Different board though, since all the 78L waves were being used I took the 84L instead. (Axxis still not ready....would have been too hairy in these conditions anyway). Actually think I prefered the 84L to the 78L - it still felt small, manouverable and very controlled in the manic conditions, but that little bit extra volume made it noticably easier to sail and gybe and also to jump.

Session started off well with a couple of nice big mumma jumps and generally good sailing, but then the effects of two late nights in a row kicked in and my energy completely evaporated. Had to throw in the towel early after only 40 minutes since nothing was going right any more and I just felt totally cream-crackered. Early night tonight methinks to recharge the batteries. Still, when conditions are as good as this, it would be extremely rude not to give the session anything less than 4 stars.
